We split our picks last night but ended up with a slight profit as we cashed the under in the Dodgers game with Kershaw putting on another performance.

I considered making a play on the under in this game but the Nationals hit Burnett very well in their last game and burned him for 10 hits and 8 runs. Burnett has also struggled in his last 3 starts going 0-3 and giving up 3 or 4 runs in each game. Zimmerman has been lights out, he hasn't allowed over 2 runs since May. I like him to go deep in this game and lead the Nationals with another solid start. Make a play on Phillies scoring under 3 runs.

Both of these starting pitchers have given their teams excellent starts this year. Samardzija got the As a win in his first outing this year and looks to be settling in well at his new home. Hernandez has been phenomenal all year. I like this game to be a classic pitchers duel with both of these guys showing off their skills. Hernandez hasn't allowed over 2 runs since mid may and has an ERA of 2.11. Samardzija will be looking to prove his worth in the trade and continue his performance from last game where he went 7 innings 4 hits and 1 run. He has an ERA of 2.74 and has shown he can reach back for extra when needed. Make a play on the 5 inning line under 3 runs tonight.

This one should be a very lopsided game. LA is firing on all cylinders and starting Richards (10-2, 2.71 ERA) is among the AL leaders in wins, ERA, strikeouts (119) and batting average against (.196). LA has scored a total of 65 runs over their last 10 games and they have won 8 of them. Texas is struggling with injuries and is a brutal 1-9 in their last 10 games including an embarrassing 15-6 loss last night.  Tepesch has struggled against strong batting teams, he got lit up by Oakland, Cleveland and Washington, I expect it to happen again tonight. Make a Run Line play and a -2.5 play on LAA.
