This is a situational play. The Islanders are in the middle of a brutally long West Coast road trip. They are playing the late game so I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose their legs as the game wears on. They just got 2 wins vs Winnipeg and Calgary before losing to Edmonton.  Historically Vancouver has owned this matchup winning 8 of the last 11 games.  The Canucks are a very solid home team against teams from the east going 6-2 on the year. NYI is 5-5 on the road vs western teams. At basically even money the value is on the home team here.

This is an interesting matchup, but teams have struggled lately. This is a good value play on the Sharks who have the better overall record and should be motivated to get a win over a team close behind them in the playoff race. Minnesota is usually a great home team but they have struggled lately. I have this game handicapped closer to a coin flip. So ill take the plus money on the underdog.
