Tanaka doesn't lose very many games. He is officially 35-2 over the last 2 years in games where he received a decision. With the fact that he lost his last start in mind I am taking him to come out today very focused on pitching an excellent game. Boston is countering with Jon Jester who is 8-7 on the year with an ERA of 3.14. I expect this game to be fairly low scoring with the Yankees taking it 4-1 or so.

This is a high quality road run line system play. The Tigers have been playing great baseball lately and blowing teams out regularly. Scherzer is 9-3 on the year with a 3.71 ERA. The team is 11-5 behind him when he starts. They have covered the run line in 8 of the 11 wins when he started. Houston has been getting blown out frequently and has a losing home record at 19-22. Houston is 2-7 behind Oberholtzer as a starter, he has a 4.76 ERA and has lost by 2 or more in 5 of the 7 losses. Make a 2 unit play on Detroit on the run line today.

I am going with the UNDER in this game as Darvish has been fantastic all year and I expect another strong showing out of him today. The Rangers have struggled at the plate recently and are up against the Twins ace in Hughes. Hughes is 8-3 on the year with an ERA of 3.40. I expect this one to be a pitchers duel and go 7 or less.
