Sports Picker VIP Client Email Sent: Thu 7/10/2014 2:00 PM Subject: Sports Picker VIP Plays for 7-10-2014 After a lights out streak the past week we admittedly ran into a couple of off days. We had the right play with the White Sox last night as Chris Sale was perfect through 7 innings only to give up a run then have the bull pen throw the game away in the 8th and 9th, happens some times. Tonight I have 2 games on the card. 7/10/2014 3:45 PM Reduced Baseball 971 Oakland Athletics/San Francisco Giants* Under 7 -110 S Kazmir - L Listed T Hudson - R Listed Risking 2.00 To Win 1.82 (Push) This series have been very low scoring for these two teams and I expect another pitchers duel tonight. Both pitchers are performing at the top of their game, the one difference is that the Giants have never faced Kazmir, so I expect there to be a learning curve as they get used to his pitching. Hudson on the other hand pitched from the As for 6 years so they should have a good idea of what he is going to bring tonight. Hudson has dropped a few decisions lately but its not due to his pitching, he only allowed 3 runs in his last 2 starts. I like the As to get a low scoring win tonight but I see more value in the play on the under. 7/10/2014 10:10 PM Reduced Baseball 959 San Diego Padres/Los Angeles Dodgers* Under 6 +107 O Despaigne - R Listed C Kershaw - L Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.61 (WINNER) 7/10/2014 10:10 PM Reduced Baseball 960 Los Angeles Dodgers* -1½ -115 vs San Diego Padres O Despaigne - R Listed C Kershaw - L Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 0.87 (loss) This one is really a bet on how many runs the Dodgers can score, because I don't see San Diego scoring many at all. Kershaw is firing on all cylinders, he comes into this game carrying a streak of 38 scoreless innings with him. Kershaw comes into this game with a 1.85 ERA and a 10-2 record, he has won his last 7 starts and the Dodgers have had 4 straight shutouts behind him starting. I am taking the under as I can see another LAD shutout in the cards, I am taking the run line bet as a partial hedge against a Dodgers blowout, and of course we can always catch a middle here like we did a few nights ago with the St. Louis 2-0 win over Pittsburgh. Two games and 4 plays on today's card.
7/9/2014 10:15 PM MLB Baseball 929 Oakland Athletics* -120 vs San Francisco Giants J Hammel - R Listed M Cain - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.25 (loss) 7/9/2014 10:15 PM Reduced Baseball 929 Oakland Athletics* -1½ +150 vs San Francisco Giants Risking 1.00 To Win 1.50 (loss) The Giants have been ice cold recently. They have lost 14 of their last 17 home games and tonight things don't get any easier. They are up against a red hot Oakland team. Oakland has won 6 in a row and outscored opponents 36-25 over their last 10 games and 9 of those runs against came in 1 game vs Detroit. Over their last 5 games they have allowed a total of 4 runs! Hammel was recently acquired from Chicago and will be making his debut tonight, he actually managed a winning record with one of the worst teams in baseball going 8-5 with a 2.98 ERA. San Fran counters with Cain who is 1-7 on the year with a 4.27 ERA. I am going with the hot team here to keep things rolling. 7/9/2014 7:10 PM MLB Baseball 917 Chicago White Sox* -116 vs Boston Red Sox C Sale - L Listed R De La Rosa - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 0.86 (loss) 7/9/2014 7:10 PM Reduced Baseball 917 Chicago White Sox* -1½ +145 vs Boston Red Sox Risking 1.00 To Win 1.45 (loss) This is a road run line system play, we are getting great value on this play, the White Sox have been all over the Red Sox this series, and Chicago is starting Chris Sale who is 8-1 on the year with a 2.16 ERA. He is really coming into form and is coming off a complete game vs Seattle. Boston has struggled to score runs recently, and they are on a 4 game losing streak. Boston is countering with De La Rosa, a who the recalled from triple A. Bottom line with this play is I am going with the Hot team right now who has the better pitcher and momentum. We have cashed several run line and ML plays and I expect him to come out very focused today after carding two straight losses. So far Tanaka is 12-3 on the year in games he received a decision in, he has a 2.27 ERA and the team is 13-4 behind him as a starter for a ML profit of +647 on the year. Cleveland is handing the ball to Bauer, who comes in 2-4 on the year with a 4.42 ERA, the team is 4-6 behind him as a starter for a ML Loss of -159. The Yankees actually have a better road record than home record this year, they are 27-20 on the road. I also like that the Yankees have been scoring runs, over their last 5 starts they have scored 28 runs avg of 5.6 per game. That should help us clear the run line in today's game 7/8/2014 8:15 PM MLB Baseball 957 Pittsburgh Pirates/St. Louis Cardinals* Under 7 +160 V Worley - R Listed C Martinez - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 1.60 (loss) I am going with another under in the Cardinals vs Pirates game. Yesterdays game went 8.5 innings without a run. I can't believe the value we are getting on under 7 here tonight at +160. Note this is an alternate under line - if you have this at under 7.5 or under 8 it is still the right play here. St Louis has been a shut out machine this year, they have either shut out or allowed 1 run in 10 games since June 1st. St Louis has held opponents to 3 or less runs in each of Martinez last 4 starts. Worley has 4 starts this year and in each he has allowed 3 or fewer runs. This one looks to me like another low scoring game. Yet we are getting amazing value on the White Sox at +170. Both teams are starting pitchers who have struggled this year. Both teams have losing records although the White Sox have a slightly better overall record at 42-47 compared to the Red Sox at 39-49. The WS are 6-4 in their last 10 the RS are 4-6. The RS have allowed 56 runs against over their last 10 games, with Buchholz starting (ERA 6.22) they are going to need to give some serious run support to win this one. We don't need to win this game 50% of the time to make a lot of money, take the Road dog here. 7/7/2014 8:15 PM Reduced Baseball 907 Pittsburgh Pirates/St. Louis Cardinals* Under 7½ -120 C Morton - R Listed A Wainwright - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 0.83 (WINNER) 7/7/2014 8:15 PM Reduced Baseball 908 St. Louis Cardinals* -1½ +140 vs Pittsburgh Pirates C Morton - R Listed A Wainwright - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 1.40 (WINNER) This play is a bit of a hedge with an opportunity to win both bets. I expect this to be a 4-1 type win for the Cardinals as Wainwright has really come into form recently winning 4 of his last 5 and not allowing more than 2 runs in any of those games. In his last 9 starts only 1 game has gone over 7 runs and he has 4 shut outs over that stretch. He enters this game with a 1.89 ERA. Morton comes in with a 3.30 ERA, he has pitched better recently, but it hasn't been against very dangerous teams at the plate. I don't normally take both the run line and the under, but I could see this being a very low scoring game so I am going with the under as a hedge against a 2-1 or 3-2 game. Lets Get It Rob VIP Client Email - Sports Picker VIP plays for 7-6-2014 Sent - July 6th, 2014 11:47 EDT Subject: Sports Picker VIP plays for 7-6-14 We had another profitable day yesterday. As expected Hernandez had another amazing day, but Seattle didn't give him the needed run support, until they tied things up in the 9th to eventually win in extra innings. The Jays and As had another low scoring game with the Jays only scoring 2 runs in over 30 innings of play this series. I am looking to keep the streak going with 3 more plays on 2 games today. I am not thrilled about many of the games on today's schedule. There are a lot of very accurate lines. I do however have 2 under bets that I have found value in. 7/6/2014 1:35 PM Reduced Baseball 953 Chicago Cubs/Washington Nationals* Under 7 -118 J Arrieta - R Listed J Zimmerman - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.27 (WINNER) This one should be a pitchers duel, the Cubs are starting their best pitcher in Arrieta, he has a fantastic ERA at 1.81 and a record of 5-1 on the year, the team is 8-3 behind him as a starter. Zimmerman has been fantastic recently winning his last 2 starts in convincing fashion, he is 6-4 on the year with an ERA of 2.95. I would make an underdog play on the Cubs here but they just haven't given the run support recently to warrant a play, thus I like the under as I expect this one to be low scoring. 7/6/2014 4:05 PM MLB Baseball 977 Toronto Blue Jays/Oakland Athletics* Under 7 +120 D Hutchison - R Listed J Samardzija - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.80 (WINNER) 7/6/2014 4:05 PM MLB Baseball 978 Oakland Athletics* -152 vs Toronto Blue Jays D Hutchison - R Listed J Samardzija - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 0.66 (WINNER) I like this one to be another low scoring game in this series, so far the Jays have only scored 3 runs over 3 games in this series, and things don't get any easier tonight with the As starting their recently acquired starter Jeff Samardzija. Samardzija has a terrible record this year, but its not by his own doing, he has pitched fantastic the Cubs just haven't given him a chance to win. Its amazing to see when a star like Samardzija has 103Ks on 17 starts, with an era of 2.83 and the team loses 14 of 17 games!!! I like him to come out focused and get the As a big win tonight with another low scoring game. I am going with 1.5 units on UNDER 7 and 1 unit on the As to win. We got a 3 run win last time we backed him (but didn't cover the 5 inning line). Seattle is 12-6 behind him as a starter. In 7 of his last 10 starts the team has won by 3 or more runs, we are getting great value on the -2.5 line. Make a play on the ML and a play at -2.5 for Seattle to even this series today. 7/5/2014 10:05 PM MLB Baseball 925 Toronto Blue Jays/Oakland Athletics* Under 7 +120 M Buehrle - L Listed S Kazmir - L Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.80 (WINNER) Both of these pitchers have been very solid and neither team has looked very good at the plate last night as they played to a 12 inning 1-0 game. Take the alternate game total line at under 7, if you can only get it at under 7.5 that is fine too. Buehrle ERA 2.50 hasn't got a win in a month, but he hasnt pitched poorly, the Jays just haven't given him any run support. Kazmir has been the As best pitcher at 9-3 ERA 2.61. I like this to be another low scoring game. Lets Get It Rob VIP Client Email - Sports Picker VIP Plays for 7-4-2014 Sent - Fri, Jul 4, 2014 at 2:40 PM Just one game I really like today and 2 plays 7/4/2014 8:10 PM Reduced Baseball 963 Los Angeles Dodgers* -1½ -115 vs Colorado Rockies C Kershaw - L Listed J De La Rosa - L Listed Risking 2.00 To Win 1.74 (WINNER) 7/4/2014 8:10 PM Reduced Baseball 963 Los Angeles Dodgers/Colorado Rockies* Under 9 +110 C Kershaw - L Listed J De La Rosa - L Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 1.10 (NO BET/PUSH) I am backing Kershaw and the under here. Kershaw no hit the Rockies a couple weeks ago and he is currently on a 28 inning no run streak. De La Rosa has pitched well at home but shouldn't be able to compete with Kershaw. Note there was a pitcher change to De la rosa from Jurrjens if by chance de la rosa doesn't start we will not take the action on the under. (NO BET) Let's get it Rob VIP Client Email - Sports Picker VIP Plays for 7-3-2014 Sent - Wed, Jul 2, 2014 at 11:45 PM I am going to be in an all day conference tomorrow so I am sending tomorrows plays out now. Both Tanaka and Hughes have a winning record on the year, and both have been very solid starters. I like both pitchers to go deep into this game. 7/3/2014 7:05 PM Reduced Baseball 906 Pittsburgh Pirates* -1½ +160 vs Arizona Diamondbacks B McCarthy - R Listed V Worley - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 2.40 (loss) We have been riding against McCarthy profitably all year. He is the worst starting pitcher in the league based on win record and ML bets. Arizona's offence has gone south, I am going with Pittsburgh on the Run line here. Lets Get It Rob VIP Client Email - Sports Picker VIP plays for 7-2-2014 Sent - Wed, Jul 2, 2014 at 12:57 PM 2 games and 3 plays on today's card 7/2/2014 10:15 PM Reduced Baseball 961 St. Louis Cardinals/San Francisco Giants* Under 6½ -113 A Wainwright - R Listed R Vogelsong - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.33 (WINNER) Both of these pitchers have been fantastic, I don't think this play needs much explaining, neither team has been shooting the lights out batting and we have two of the leagues best pitchers facing off. Play the under. 7/2/2014 2:10 PM MLB Baseball 969 Seattle Mariners* -108 vs Houston Astros C Young - R Listed B Peacock - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 0.93 (WINNER) 7/2/2014 2:10 PM MLB Baseball 969 Seattle Mariners* -2½ +205 vs Houston Astros C Young - R Listed B Peacock - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 2.05 (WINNER) Seattle has been all over Houston this series, they won 13-2 and 10-4. Tonight they are starting Chris Young who has been one of their best starting pitchers, the team has gone 9-6 behind him as a starter for a ML win of +695. He is officially 7-4 in games he received a decision and has an ERA of 3.15. Peacocks hasn't pitched bad for the Astros but he hasn't been fantastic either, he is 2-4 in games he received a decision in with an ERA of 4.21 and the team is 5-6 behind him as a starter. This play is all about momentum, Seattle is a better road team at 25-16 they have won 8 of their last 10, Houston is 20-25 at home and they have only won 3 of their last 10. Make a play on the ML and the -2.5 RL for Seattle. Lets Get It Rob ===== ADDED PLAY Sent - Wed, Jul 2, 2014 at 3:41 PM I am adding one more play to today's card 7/2/2014 7:05 PM MLB Baseball 955 Arizona Diamondbacks* +143 vs Pittsburgh Pirates C Anderson - R Listed C Morton - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 2.15 (loss) This play has huge value in it. We are getting a better pitcher with a far better record with Anderson at 5-3 on the year ERA 3.63 compared to Morton at 4-9 ERA 3.41. The DBacks play way better on the road than they do at home, they have lost a few close ones lately and at +143 we are getting fantastic value on a game that by my estimation the DBacks have a better than 50% chance of winning. Lets Get It Rob VIP Client Email - Sports Picker VIP plays for 7-1-14 Sent - Tue, Jul 1, 2014 at 3:12 PM 7/1/2014 8:10 PM MLB Baseball 919 Kansas City Royals* -122 vs Minnesota Twins J Shields - R Listed R Nolasco - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 0.82 (Loss) 7/1/2014 8:10 PM Reduced Baseball 919 Kansas City Royals* -1½ +135 vs Minnesota Twins J Shields - R Listed R Nolasco - R Listed Risking 1.00 To Win 1.35 (Loss) I am coming right back again tonight with the Royals after we got a big 6-1 win with them last night. Shields has been the Royals best starting pitcher this year, he is 8-3 in games where he received a decision with an ERA of 3.79. The team is 11-6 when he starts including a streak of 8 straight wins. The Royals have lost the last 2 games he started in and I expect them to get a win for him tonight and keep the momentum rolling. Minnesota is countering with Nolasco who has been below average with an ERA of 5.74 and 4-6 in games he received a decision in. The team is 7-9 behind him as a starter and his ERA has hovered above 5 all year long. Take the Royals for a unit on the RL and ML. 7/1/2014 7:10 PM Reduced Baseball 907 Philadelphia Phillies/Miami Marlins* Under 7½ -110 A Burnett - R Listed H Alvarez - R Listed Risking 1.50 To Win 1.38 (Loss) Neither of these two teams have been batting very well over their last few games, and these are the two best pitchers facing off. Alvarez comes into this game with a record of 5-3 and an ERA of 2.32, the team is actually 11-5 behind him and they have won 9 of his last 10 starts. Burnett is 5-7 on the year with an ERA of 3.69, the team has gone 9-8 behind him as a starter. Miami is averaging 4.7 runs per game at home good for 2nd in the league behind Colorado but over their last 10 they have averaged only 3.6 runs per game. The Phillies have averaged only 2.6 runs over their last 10 games and have lost 8 of them. The Park Factor is -86 in Miami. These two pitchers faced off a week ago in Philly and Miami win 3-2. I like this to be another low scoring game with Miami taking it 4-2 or something like that. I like the under best here, you could also put a unit on Miami if you want some additional action.
