Picture

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Demarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings (Doubtful)

Demarcus Cousins (ankle/hip) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Demarcus will likely miss his first NBA game since Jan. 17 leaving the Kings extremely shorthanded. Cousins, the superstar big man is not only dealing with a bruised hip but also a sprained ankle so the timetable for his return from his various ailments is currently unknown.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Jason Thompson
Rudy Gay
Reggie Evans
Ben McLemore
Ray McCallum

-Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Cavalries (Doubtful)

Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is not expected to travel with the Cavs to Indiana and is considered doubtful for Friday's game against the Pacers. Kyrie was thought to be healthy but something has changed and he will undergo an MRI to determine what exactly is causing his ailments.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
LeBron James
Kevin Love
Timofey Mozgov
J.R. Smith

-Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls (Out)

Derrick Rose (knee) will undergo surgery Friday as his knee has once again given out. While we will not until after the surgery and a bit of rehab how much time Derrick will miss but if its like his last injury recover will take a long time. Looks like Rose will be out the remainder of the 2014-15 NBA season.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Pau Gasol
Jimmy Butler
Joakim Noah
Aaron Brooks

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Golden State Warriors @ Toronto Raptors - Over/Under 213 (TOR -1)

Golden State is coming off a back to back so the defensive legs should be tired and given the 213 total this should be high scoring affair. Both teams play at an extremely high pace but they are also a bit unpredictable when it comes to who will be big daily fantasy points scorer for the day. While both of these teams spread the ball around a lot it might worth taking a few player here since is supposed to be so close and high scoring.

Golden State Warriors Players To Watch:
Draymond Green
Stephen Curry
Klay Thompson

Toronto Raptors Players To Watch:
Kyle Lowry
DeMar DeRozan

Brooklyn Nets @ Houston Rockets - Over/Under 206.5 (HOU -6.5)

Both these teams are playing shorthanded so this should be a prime spot to grab some daily fantasy points when building lineups. There should be plenty of shooting in this game and the over and under suggest it should high scoring and fast paced. There are some new names in the starting lineups for both teams so this is a great chance to pick up some players that otherwise might be flying under the radar.

Brookly Nets Players To Watch:
Joe Johnson
Deron Williams
Markel Brown
Brook Lopez
Thaddeus Young
Jarrett Jack

Houston Rockets Players To Watch:
James Harden
Trevor Ariza
Terrence Jones
Donatas Motiejunas
Corey Brewer

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Portland Trailblazers - Over/Under 207 (POR -4)

Russell Westbrook took 38 shots in his last game that went into overtime so expect to see more of the same tonight. The Thunder are coming off an overtime back to back so they should be a bit tired giving way to lots of offense and daily fantasy points. The Thunder missing Durant has opened up some nice scoring opportunities for more Thunder players which is good to keep in mind.

Oklahoma City Thunder Players To Watch:
Russell Westbrook
Enes Kanter
Serge Ibaka

Portland Trailblazers Players To Watch:
Nicolas Batum
Damian Lillard
Wesley Matthews
LaMarcus Aldridge (check playing status)

Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Wednesday Breakdown and Preview

Picture

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls (Out)

Derrick Rose suffered a medial meniscus tear of the right knee and will require surgery. This is Derrick's second medial meniscus tear in his knee and most likely will be end to his NBA season. Rose previously tore the ACL in his left knee which caused him to take significant time off. It is not set when Derrick will undergo the knee surgery and the Bulls have not yet announced if he will miss the remainder of the NBA season, but that seems like the most probable scenario.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Pau Gasol
Jimmy Butler
Joakim Noah
Nikola Mirotic
Tony Snell

-Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks (Questionable)

Jeff Teague (illness) missed Tuesday's Hawks practice. Details regarding the illness have not been released by the team, but Teague should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks until further specifics come out. If he's unable to take the court, Dennis Schroder will get the start.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Paul Millsap
Al Horford
DeMarre Carroll
Kyle Korver
Dennis Schroder

-Jarrett Jack, Brooklyn Nets (Questionable)

Jarrett Jack (hamstring) is expecting to return to NBA action Wednesday, but is scheduled to play limited minutes off the bench if he does get a chance to take the court. Its hard to say how much of Jarrett's new role in the offense is because of the hamstring injury, or if Brooklyn is just searching for new chemistry and riding out Deron Williams solid play since is return. Regardless of the reason Jarrett's daily fantasy sports value seems to be trending down.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Deron Williams
Markel Brown
Brook Lopez

3 Wednesday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Los Angeles Clippers @ Houston Rockets - Over/Under 215 (HOU -3.5)

Both these teams are currently playing at an extremely fast pace especially at the guard position so this should be a high flying affair with plenty of daily fantasy sports points up for grabs and high over under total is a great indication of this. Expect the guards to run the floor with wild abandon is this close up tempo contest. Both teams are also dealing with injuries in the front court with both Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard on the injury list so this should be a more offense focused affair with most of the scoring coming from the outside.

Los Angeles Clippers Players To Watch:
Chris Paul
DeAndre Jordan
J.J. Redick
Jamal Crawford
Spencer Hawes

Houston Rockets Players To Watch:
James Harden
Terrence Jones
Trevor Ariza
Josh Smith
Corey Brewer

Phoenix Suns @ Denver Nuggets - Over/Under 214 (PHO -5)

While the Denver Nuggets are spreading there points and minutes over many players the new look Phoenix Suns are giving their starters plenty of chances to shine making this a great opportunity to pick up daily fantasy points from a high scoring heavily played offense. This should be a close high scoring affair so there should be lots of great spots to pick up some DFS points for reasonable prices.

Phoenix Suns Players To Watch:
Eric Bledsoe
Brandon Knight
P.J. Tucker
Alex Len
Markieff Morris

Denver Nuggets Players To Watch:
Ty Lawson
Darrell Arthur
Danilo Gallinari
Jusuf Nurkic

Washington Wizards @ Minnesota Timberwolves - Over/Under 203.5 (MIN -2)

Like the Nuggets the Wizards spread there minutes and scoring pretty thin among lots of different players while very similar to the Suns the Timberwolves keep the scoring and playing time focused on a few key starters making this game an interesting one to track for daily fantasy sports. With the high total and close point spread there should be plenty points be had on the Minnesota side of the ball. The Wizards are also coming off a hard fought back to back loss against the Warriors so this might be an ideal time to grab some heavy minutes Minnesota players against a tired defense.

Washington Wizards Players To Watch:
Marcin Gortat
John Wall

Minnesota Timberwolves Players To Watch:
Andrew Wiggins
Ricky Rubio
Kevin Martin
Nikola Pekovic
Adreian Payne

Its been a wild first week back since the NBA All Star break in NBA daily fantasy sports and with an exciting 12 game schedule tonight the fun does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. If you are still grinding NBA daily fantasy sports remember its crucial to compete within your bankroll and comfort levels. Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Friday Breakdown and Preview

Picture

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks (Out)

Carmelo Anthony (knee) is scheduled to undergo surgery in the near future, which rules him out for the rest of the NBA season. As already planned Carmelo will have surgery on the knee that's been bothering him all year long rather then finish the season. With the New York Knicks having no chance of making the playoffs, there is little incentive for Anthony to play. The knee surgery will focus specifically on repairing Carmelo's patella tendon.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Jason Smith
Jose Calderon

-Chris Bosh, Miami Heat (Out)

Chris Bosh (chest) may be experiencing a blood clot in his lung. While the report is only a precaution stage right now it would be devastating for the Miami Heat and Chris if he's suffering from a blood clot. We should learn more news about Bosh's health over the next few days, and until more information is available the situation should be monitored but it does not appear he will playing in the immediate future.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Hassan Whiteside
Luol Deng
Mario Chalmers / Goran Dragic
Dwyane Wade

-Jared Sullinger, Boston Celtics (Out)

Jared Sullinger (foot) is going to be missing playing time for the forseeable future as reported. Jared is without a return timetable at this point in time, but this appears to be a stress-related injury which always require extreme caution, so there is no reason to think he will be returning anytime soon. This should open up some daily fantasy sports scoring opportunities for an already short Boston Celtics team.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Evan Turner
Avery Bradley / Isiah Thomas
Brandon Bass
Tyler Zeller

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Phoenix Suns @ Minnesota Timberwolves - Over/Under 211.5 (MIN -2.5)

Now that Minnesota is completely healthy they are playing at a high level of basketball and are now giving good teams plenty of run. While the Suns made some interesting trades recently sending Goran Dragic to the Heat and Isiah Thomas to the Celtics while acquiring Brandon Knight from the Bucs they are still expected to continue to play there uptempo style of basketball that includes lots of guard play which should still equate to plenty of daily fantasy sports points to rack up.

Minnesota Timberwolves Players To Watch:
Thaddeus Young
Nikola Pekovic
Kevin Martin
Ricky Rubio
Andrew Wiggins

Phoenix Suns Players To Watch:
Markieff Morris
P.J. Tucker
Eric Bledsoe / Brandon Knight

Houston Rockets @ Dallas Mavericks - Over/Under 211 (DAL -2)

While Dallas put a scary poor performance against Oklahoma last night they should be hungary to come back out and play much better. They get there chance tonight on a back to back against the high flying Houston Rockets. The Mavericks now have all there players healthy once again with Rondo finally returning but it still seems like they are trying to find there chemistry. Houston is short in the front court and Dallas likes to push the inside outside game so this should be a close contest with lots of chances to pick up plenty of daily fantasy sports.

Houston Rockets Players To Watch:
James Harden
Patrick Beverley
Trevor Ariza
Josh Smith
Corey Brewer

Dallas Mavericks Players To Watch:
Tyson Chandler
Dirk Nowitzki
Monta Ellis
Chandler Parsons

Toronto Raptors @ Atlanta Hawks - Over/Under 204.5 (ATL -5)

This is another high scoring close game against two competitive teams that should produce some great daily fantasy sports opportunities. While Toronto DFS points have been all over the place the Hawks are a great team to focus on as they have lots of reliable, consistent and focused almost night after night. It will be interesting to see who does well for Toronto in this game but we should see plenty of points and lots of high tempo basketball which should lead to lots of DFS points.

Atlanta Hawks Players To Watch:
Al Horford
Paul Millsap
DeMarre Carroll
Jeff Teague

Toronto Raptors Players To Watch:
DeMar DeRozan
Kyle Lowry
Louis Williams

Finally the NBA All Star break is over and NBA daily fantasy sports is back with a nice 13 game slate that should be filled with fun and excitement. If you plan to jump back into the NBA daily fantasy sports action remember its vital to play within your bankroll and comfort levels which will make staying on the right track to success more sustainable. Make sure to do your NBA daily fantasy homework, study the best DFS players and lineups as often as you can and always monitor the news throughout the day and all the way up until tip off for last minute lineup adjustments and changes. Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Wednesday Breakdown and Preview

Picture

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

Blake Griffin completed a successful surgery on Monday to eliminate a staph infection from his right elbow. Black will be reviewed after three weeks of re-hab and it will be at that point that his playing status will be updated.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Chris Paul
DeAndre Jordan
Matt Barnes
JJ Redick
Jamal Crawford

-Monta Ellis, Dallas Mavericks (Out)

Monta Ellis (hip) is not scheduled to compete against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Monta only lasted four minutes on the floor Monday before leaving the game with an injury to his left hip. The precise extent of the injury is still not know, but it seems that Monta will get an extended rest to heal as the Dallas Mavericks do play a regular season game again until after the All-Star break against the Oklahoma Thunder on Feb. 19. With injuries to Tyson Chandler and Rajon Rondo we will have to keep a keen eye on how future Dallas lineup dynamics play out.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Chandler Parsons
Dirk Nowitzki
J.J. Barea

-Anthony Davis, New Orleans Hornets (Questionable)

Anthony Davis (shoulder) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Indiana Pacers.  If Davis is out it will once again make New Orleans short of players on the front line, if Davis is unable to play. Being that the NBA All-Star break is almost here, it might be logical for the Pelicans to take the cautious route tonight by sitting Anthony.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Tyreke Evans
Eric Gordon
Omer Asik
Luke Babbitt

3 Wednesday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Indiana Pacers @ New Orleans Hornets - Over/Under 190 (HOU -3)

We love those injury filled, close games and according to the odds makers that is exactly what this game is set to be. With New Orleans experiencing a lot of injuries there is plenty of opportunity to pick up some great players who are getting heavy minutes and heavy shots. There should also be plenty of opportunities for the Pacers big men against a softened New Orleans front line. The Pacers put up and gave up over a 100 points last game to the low scoring Hornets so it will be interesting to see if this game takes a similar pace putting lots of NBA daily fantasy sports points up for grabs.

Indiana Pacers Players To Watch:
David West
Roy Hibbert
George Hill
Rodney Stuckey
C.J. Miles

New Orleans Hornets Players To Watch:
Tyreke Evans
Eric Gordon
Omer Asik
Luke Babbitt

Golden State Warriors @ Minnesota Timberwolves - Over/Under 216 (GS -8.5)

With Minnesota almost fully healthy just getting Martin and Rubio back they are now starting to compete with any team on any given night. What once would have been a blowout between these two teams should now be a fast paced, energy filled game that should stay reasonably close throughout. While Golden State spreads most of there daily fantasy sports points amongst a lot of players this might be a great chance to pick up some cheaper sneaky Minnesota picks.

Minnesota Timberwolves Players To Watch:
Thaddeus Young
Andrew Wiggins
Nikola Pekovic
Kevin Martin
Ricky Rubio
Shabazz Muhammad

Golden State Warriors Players To Watch:
Stephen Curry
Klay Thompson

Houston Rockets @ LA Clippers - Over/Under 213.5 (LAC -3.5)

As injuries plague both these teams they are relying on a select few superstars to really step up and produce and both teams have seen players do just that. As this will be a close high scoring there should lots of daily fantasy sports points to be gathered from both sides of the ball and court. James Harden has put up back to back 40+ plus point games and it will be fun to watch and see if he can keep up the momentum. Also with Howard sitting out and DeAndre Jordan getting heavy focus last game it will be interesting to see how he does against a smaller fast shot taking team like the Rockets.

Los Angeles Clippers Players To Watch:
Chris Paul
DeAndre Jordan
Matt Barnes
JJ Redick
Jamal Crawford

Houston Rockets Players To Watch:
James Harden
Patrick Beverley
Trevor Ariza
Josh Smith

As 24 NBA Teams hit the floor tonight it should be yet another exciting day in daily NBA fantasy sports. Its crucial to remember to always play within our bankrolls and comfort levels so we can stay in the daily fantasy sports contests for as long as feasibly possible while we build out the foundations to our winning paths of success in NBA daily fantasy sports. Be sure to do your homework, study the best DFS players and lineups often and always monitor the news throughout the day up until tip off for last minute lineup announcements and changes. Do you enjoy NBA daily fantasy sports? If you could pick one thing you would want to improve upon what would it be?

Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Wednesday Breakdown and Preview

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Mo Williams, Minnesota Timberwolves (Questionable)

Mo Williams (hip) is marked as questionable to compete in Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Mo already missed a couple games to close out January with a hurt hip and after averaging 26 minutes playing time in Minnesota's last two games, the hip issue looks like it has comeback. It's too early to guess what is exactly wrong at this point, but more new should be available after Friday's shoot around.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Ricky Rubio
Kevin Martin
Thaddeus Young
Zach LaVine

-Jordan Hill, Los Angeles Lakers (Out)

Jordan Hill (hip) is most likely to miss two weeks or more due to his recent injury. Jordan is experiencing a strained hip muscle and the Lakers have noted that he will most likely be out through the All-Star break and maybe even longer. As always it will be interesting to see how Lakers coach Byron Scott will shuffle up the lineup in Hill's absence.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Carlos Boozer
Ed Davis
Wayne Ellington

-Mario Chalmers, Miami Heat (Questionable)

Mario Chalmers experienced a left shin contusion during the game Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves but did end up returning to the game. Initially, Mario's injury appeared to be serious, after he dove into the stands and required help to the locker room. Even though he played the injury it will be worth it to check on his game status for Friday's game against the Spurs.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Norris Cole
Hassan Whiteside
Chris Bosh
Luol Deng

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Los Angeles Clippers @ Toronto Raptors - Over/Under 211.5 (TOR -2)

Nice high over/under and close point spread makes this game intriguing from an NBA daily fantasy sports perspective. The clippers are coming into a back to back but should not be affected as all Clipppers starters are used to playing heavy minutes and being the focus of the offense. With the exception JJ Redick for the Clippers both teams are for the most part healthy and playing at high levels and tempos. Its an ESPN game as well which always makes for a bit more exciting of a Friday night Atmosphere. The Clippers also lost to the Cavs last night so they might be hungry to come back and pile up the NBA daily fantasy points.

Clipppers Players To Watch:
Chris Paul
Blake Griffin
DeAndre Jordan
Jamal Crawford

Raptors Players To Watch:
Kyle Lowry
DeMar DeRozan
Terrence Ross

Golden State Warriors @ Atlanta Hawks - Over/Under 214.5 (GS -1.5)

Well its no surprise to Golden State make the cut as they are almost on the list every night for potential spots to pick up NBA daily fantasy points. Both of these teams are playing at the top of there games and each play some of the most fast paced basketball there is so expect lots of scoring. With all five of the Hawks players being named “players of the month” for January it is easy to see why this might be a great game to build an NBA daily fantasy sports lineup around. Should be a fun game to watch and it will be interesting to see which stars will shine.

Hawks Players To Watch:
DeMarre Carroll
Al Horford
Jeff Teague
Paul Millsap

Warriors Players To Watch:
Stephen Curry
Klay Thompson
Marreese Speights

Denver Nuggets @ Detroit Pistons - Over/Under 205 (DET -6.5)

As Kentavious Caldwell-Pope may be out after suffering from a sore right Achilles this might be another great opportunity to focus on a high scoring Detroit Pistons game. With all the injuries and trades Detroit has had this year they are one of the few teams that has to focus on a few star players. Denver is also a similar type team that runs a few players as the focus of the offense over heavy minutes.

Pistons Players To Watch:
D.J. Augustin
Andre Drummond
Greg Monroe

Nuggets Players To Watch:
Ty Lawson
Arron Afflalo
Kenneth Faried

With 12 NBA games on the plate tonight it should be another exciting slate in daily NBA fantasy sports.. Its vital to be as careful as possible when it comes to managing our bankrolls and comfort levels so we can enjoy the games and our investments. Make sure you do research and always check back closer to game times for late lineup improvements. Do you enjoy NBA daily fantasy sports? How would you rate your performance so far this year?

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder (Questionable)

Kevin Durant (hurt toe) did not participate in practice on Tuesday and does not appear to have a solidified timetable for his return from the sprained toe. Durant sat out for the third time in four games on Monday when the Thunder played the Orlando Magic and is marked as questionable to play Wednesday versus the New Orleans Hornets.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Russell Westbrook
Dion Waiters
Serge Ibaka

-Dwight Howard, Houston Rockets (Out)

Dwight Howard (knee) is slated to miss a month or more of basketball. Dwight has already missed three games in a row for Houston but recent tests indicate he'll miss quite a bit more time. The star center will continue to treat his knee injuries with the hopes of returning to full strength before the playoff race get underway.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
James Harden
Trevor Ariza
Donatas Motiejunas

-Rajon Rondo, Dallas Mavericks (Out)

Rajon Rondo has been treated for a orbital fracture to his left eye and a broken nose. Rondo was ruled out for Monday's game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves and the status of his health is expected to be reevaluated later in the week. Rajon will not take the flight with the team to Golden State and Sacramento while he goes through further testing which makes the earliest he could possibly return to the Mavericks lineup Saturday against the Portland Blazers.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:
Monta Ellis
Chandler Parsons
J.J. Barea

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Chicago @ Houston - Over/Under 204 (HOU -3)

This game has a nice high over and under total with a close spread so this should be a great spot to pick up some NBA daily fantasy points. Houston is dealing with injuries in the front court having center Dwight Howard out so this might be a great time to look at Chicago's strong inside game to really come through tonight. After struggling for awhile Jimmy Butler seems to picking things back up again so it will be interesting to see how he plays tonight. Also while Patrick Beverly is usually a pretty good lock down defender it will be interesting to see how he does against superstar point guard Derrick Rose who managed to put up 23 shots against the suns last game.

Houston Players To Watch:
James Harden
Trevor Ariza
Donatas Motiejunas

Chicago Players To Watch:
Pau Gasol
Jimmy Butler
Joakim Noah
Derrick Rose

Dallas @ Golden State - Over/Under 217 (GS -9.5)

As the highest point total on the board today and with Golden State scoring points at an amazing rate this game has all the makings for the perfect opportunity to pick up a lot of NBA daily fantasy points. With Rajon Rondo out this might be the perfect chance to play one of the best point guards in the NBA in Stephen Curry against the Dallas backup trio of JJ Berea, Rayomnd Felton and Devin Harris. While this game should remain pretty close throughout it is of note that when Golden State does get a big lead they really start to rest starters and move minutes and shots around which is always something to keep an eye when making Warrior picks.

Dallas Players To Watch:
Monta Ellis
Chandler Parsons
J.J. Barea

Golden State Players To Watch:
Stephen Curry
Klay Thompson
Marreese Speights

Detroit @ Indiana - Over/Under 193 (IND -3)

While Indian Pacers players have provided nothing to dazzle NBA daily fantasy sports lineups it is there soft guard defense and the red hot Pistons that make this an intriguing game to look at. Even though Detroit is coming into a back to back after beating Miami 108 to 91 the night before they have been on fire and especially at the guard positions. This game should be close with a reasonable amount of points scored so there should be some great value plays from this game tonight as most starts from each team are reasonably priced when it comes to NBA daily fantasy sports sites and salary caps.

Detroit Players To Watch:
D.J. Augustin
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Andre Drummond

Indiana Players To Watch:
David West
George Hill

With the 11 NBA games on the plate tonight it should be a wild ride in daily NBA fantasy sports as usual. Its key to remember to always play within our bankrolls and comfort levels so we can stay in action for as long as feasibly possible while carving out a winning path to success in the NBA daily fantasy sports. Be sure to do your research and always check near game times for last minute lineup adjustments and changes. Do you enjoy NBA daily fantasy sports? Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Friday Breakdown and Preview

Picture

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Lebron James, Cleveland Cavaliers (Doubtful)

Lebron James (wrist) is noted as doubtful to see action this Friday against the Sacramento Kings. After taking a ball fall Tuesday versus the Detroit Pistons Lebron was evaluated and treated for a sprained wrist, which caused a DNP on Wednesday against Portland. Cleveland is on the second outing of five games in seven nights, so James may be given more time to rest. Look for James to sit this one out but it will be worth watching this one up until game time.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Kyrie Irving

Kevin Love

J.R. Smith

Timofey Mozgov

-Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat (Out)

Dwyane Wade (hamstring) announced Thursday that he is planning on missing 2-to-3 weeks for his leg injury. Dwyane said the best possible scenario is that he misses a couple weeks, but he could be out much longer, perhaps even until after the All-Star break.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Danny Granger

Chris Bosh

Hassan Whiteside

Mario Chalmers

-Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans (Questionable)

Anthony Davis (groin) was treated for a grade 1 adductor strain and is now considered day-to-day. Anthony hurt his groin in the second half of Wednesday's contest versus the Denver Nuggets and an MRI Thursday showed the tweaked ankle's strain. Anthony is considered questionable to play Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Tyreke Evans

Eric Gordon

Ryan Anderson

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Houston @ Boston - Over/Under 206 (HOU -6.5)

Both of these teams are playing thing due to injuries and recent trades which makes for some interesting matchups in this game. While this game looks good for daily fantasy sports points on paper it is important to note that these two teams have really been spreading out the minutes, shots and scoring. There are only a select few players that may really have a chance to shine in this possibly high scoring but high variance game when it comes to individual player performance.

Houston Players To Watch:

James Harden

Boston Players To Watch:

Jared Sullinger

Avery Bradley

Minnesota @ Philadelphia - Over/Under 192.5 (MIN -3.5)

While this should be a lower scoring game due to Philadelphia's pace teams have been know to run with Minnesota which makes this an intriguing game for daily fantasy sports points. While Minnesota and Philadelphia may be two of the weaker teams in the league they match up well together giving us the lowest point spread of the night which should make for a close game with the starters getting plenty of run. This game might be great chance to pick up some value or often over looked players for our lineups.

Minnesota Players To Watch:

Thaddeus Young

Mo Williams

Gorgui Dieng

Kevin Martin

Cleveland Players To Watch:

Robert Covington

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute

Nerlens Noel

Chicago @ Phoenix - Over/Under 210.5 (PHO -5)

Here we have are highest point total of the day but it will interesting to see how the Chicago Bulls perform after coming off their double overtime win against the Lakers loss night. While no one should be sitting out a back to back for the Bulls it will be prudent to see if the often injured Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Joakim Noah are playing after going so many minutes last night. This should be a fast paced game with scoring from everywhere. The stars of both teams get lots of playing time as well so these types of games are always a great opportunity to pick up plenty of daily fantasy points.

Chicago Players To Watch:

Pau Gasol

Joakim Noah

Derrick Rose

Jimmy Butler

Dallas Players To Watch:

Markieff Morris

Goran Dragic

P.J. Tucker

Eric Bledsoe

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Kemba Wlaker, Charlotte Hornets (Out)

News releases have Kemba Walker (knee) undergoing surgery to fix a torn meniscus in his left knee in the near future. An injury that has been bothering Kemba for almost two weeks, Monday the torn meniscus diagnosis was finally confirmed by a second opinion. While there is no return timeline Kemba is expected to miss about six weeks of playing time. Charlotte currently holds a half-game lead over the Brooklyn Nets for the eighth and final playoff spot so this comes as a blow during a strong season.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Brian Roberts

Al Jefferson

Gerald Henderson

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Cody Zeller

Lance Stephenson

-Dwight Howard, Houston Rockets (Questionable)

Dwight Howard rolled his ankle in practice on Tuesday and will be a game-time call for Wednesday's contest against the Dallas Mavericks. Originally tweaking the ankle in Friday's which lead to Howard's sitting on Sunday's game seemed to be in recovery until he sprained it again. It now appears Dwight's ankle he may be in worse shape for tonight's game then originally anticipated. If Howard misses tonight's game look for Joey Dorsey to possibly get another start. Check back closer to game time for updates on this one.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

James Harden

Trevor Ariza

Patrick Beverley

Donatas Motiejunas

-Kevin Durant, Okalohma City Thunder

Kevin Durant (toe) is still listed as day-to-day with the chance he may be able to play Wednesday night against the New York Knicks. Durant has already missed one game due to the toe injury, but there is no indication he will be sidelined for a long period of time. Continue to check Kevin's game time status in advance of Wednesday's tip off. If Durant does not get the start most likely Perry Jones will get another start at the three position in his absence.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Serge Ibaka

Russell Westbrook

3 Wednesday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Washington @ Phoenix - Over/Under 211 (PHO -5)

This should be a high flying affair with the guard positions getting the most run as is usual when if comes to Phoenix. John Wall has been amazing this year and almost dropped a triple double last night against the Lakers. Guards get the most attention on both teams and in a fast paced game such as this the guards should see plenty of chances to gather up those points. These two teams are fighting for the last few playoff spots as well which should make for an exciting game.

Phoenix Players To Watch:

Goran Dragic

Eric Bledsoe

Isiah Thomas

Washington Players To Watch:

John Wall

Bradley Beal

Portland @ Cleveland - Over/Under 206.5 (CLE -5.5)

Both these teams are great looks in daily fantasy sports as the stars play heavy minutes and are looked to often on both squads. Cleveland is coming into a back to back after beating a solid playing Pistons squad last night but Lebron has been speaking about how he feels his best of the season and has playing like it as well which was evident in his 38 point performance last night. With Batum for Portland injured this could be another great time for a Lebron magical performance. Starters for both teams get lots of minutes so expect a nice amount of NBA daily fantasy points for the stars of this game.

Portland Players To Watch:

LaMarcus Aldridge

Damian Lillard

Wesley Matthews

Cleveland Players To Watch:

LeBron James

Kyrie Irving

Dallas @ Houston - Over/Under 208.5 (HOU -4)

With both of these teams centers hurting and questionable for this game we might see some fireworks from the outside and inside in this one. A bit of a rivalry game and with a high over and under and close point spread this should be a great game to pick up some NBA daily fantasy sports. Harden and Ellis on the regular take 20+ shots per game so it should be interesting to see how these two match up against each other at the shooting guard position. Should be a fun game to watch!

Houston Players To Watch:

James Harden

Trevor Ariza

Patrick Beverley

Donatas Motiejunas

Dallas Players To Watch:

Monta Ellis

Dirk Nowitzki

Rajon Rondo

The NBA as always has been up and down lately with lots of last minute scratches, coaches decision changes, injuries and player variance. While success may seem sporadic at times the key is to keep studying and to keep building on the fundamentals that make of winning NBA daily fantasy sports lineups. The NBA may be one of the toughest sports to combat when it comes to surprise daily fantasy sports lineups changes but with proper research, work ethic and tools the challenges can be overcome. What do you find hardest about NBA daily fantasy sports lineups? Who is your favorite pick for today? Are you ready for the action?

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

Picture

-Jrue Holiday, New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans have announced that Jrue Holiday (ankle) is likely to skip the next 2-to-4 weeks after tests revealed a stress reaction in his lower right leg. Jrue has been fighting against inflammation in his right ankle for awhile now and it looks like Wednesday's tests have revealed the source of the problem. Holiday who did not play much of the last NBA season with a stress fracture in his right tibia, has missed the last four games and most likely will not see time on the court again until near or after the NBA All-Star game. It's a rough blow for a New Orleans Pelicans team that's short on guards after getting rid Austin Rivers.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Tyreka Evans

Eric Gordon

Anthony Davis

-Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers

A recent MRI showed that Kobe Bryant (shoulder) has a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder. Kobe hurt the shoulder in the second half of Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He continued to play through the pain but it was clearly bothering him and he had to play almost entirely left-handed for most of the game. Kobe will be re-evaluated by Lakers doctors on Thursday, after which the team is expected to make a statement. The Lakers have lock Bryant out of action until further notice.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Wesley Johnson

Jordan Hill

-Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls

This injury is a bit of question mark as Joakim Noah (ankle) will travel with the team for Friday's game against the Dallas Mavericks but since he has missed the last four games to an injured right ankle there is still a high probability he sits this one our or sees limited time. While the team has made no indication either way of playing status yet this one is a great injury to monitor all day or avoid all together. We will need to check back closer to game time on this one but a fifth DNP in a row does not seem far fetched.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Taj Gibson

Pau Gasol

Tony Snell

Derrick Rose

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Houston @ Phoenix - Over/Under 222 (PHO -2)

This should be the highest scoring contest of the night with two teams that are evenly matched in both fast paced tempo and skill. While both teams have very solid front its the guard play we should focus on in this game. Guards are the focus of both teams and in a fast paced game such as the guards should see a lot of action. Expect the fantasy points to plentiful in this one and look for lots of shots from the outside. These two teams are fighting for the last few playoff spots as well which should make for an exciting game.

Phoenix Players To Watch:

Goran Dragic

Eric Bledsoe

P.J. Tucker

Isiah Thomas

Houston Players To Watch:

James Harden

Patrick Beverly

Corey Brewer

Orlando @ New York - Over/Under 205.5 (ORL -2)

Carmelo is back and there are some new fresh faces are coming up on the Knicks with great current fantasy price tags making this a great game too keep an eye on. Also if Orlando's 128 – 118 loss to the Pistons on Wednesday's is any indication of current defensive prowess we should see another high scoring game filled with lots of daily fantasy point scoring potential. Close spread with a nice over under total makes this contest a much look for this Friday's contest.

Orlando Players To Watch:

Nikola Vucevic

Victor Oladipo

Tobias Harris (Coming off injury so may not start and may play limited minutes. Coach stated still getting in game shape after two weeks off)

Elfrid Payton

New York Players To Watch:

Langston Galloway

Jose Calderon

Carmelo Anthony

Boston @ Denver - Over/Under 208.5 (DEN -9)

What makes this game interesting is that the Celtics are coming of a hard fought back to back after beating the Portland Trailblazers yesterday in the last seconds of the game by 1. Kenneth Faried is also dealing with a sickness and Danilo Gallinari is returing from his injury adding some interesting variables. Boston coach Brad Stevens is also experimenting with his lineups and started Brandon Bass and Jared Sullinger next to eachother last game making for an interesting Boston frontcourt and daily fantasy sports duo creating yet more dynamics to this game. It may be a bit of a mystery where the daily fantasy points might come in this one but with the high over under and a possible star game miss makes this a game we want to keep an eye on.

Boston Players To Watch:

Jared Sullinger

Brandon Bass

Avery Bradley

Evan Turner

Denver Players To Watch:

Wilson Chandler

Arron Afflalo

Jusuf Nurkic

Ty Lawson

J.J. Hickson

Injury Report – Top Daily Fantasy Sports NBA Injuries and Illnesses of Note

-Lamarcus Aldridge, Portland Trailblazers

Injuring his thumb in the second quarter of the Blazers' 98-95 victory against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night Lamarcus Aldridge (thumb) has an upcoming MRI to determine when he may be able to return to. Evaluated Tuesday by a hand specialist it was announced Lamarcus will not play Wednesday, and the Trailblazers have given no timetable for his return. Aldridge should also be considered highly questionable for Thursday's game versus the Boston Celtics.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Damian Lillard

Wesley Matthews

Thomas Robinson

Meyers Leonard

-Tobias Harris, Orlando Magic

Already sitting out the last 5 games Tobias Harris (ankle) has not had any drawbacks to his ankle sprain rehab, and has stated it is feeling stronger. Despite taking shots and going through individual workouts there is still no set date for his return. While this news is encouraging we need to keep an eye on Tobias' playing status as the team has made no official announcement on when he will be back exactly.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Channing Frye

Nikola Vucevic

Elfrid Payton

Victor Oladipo

-Luol Deng, Miami Heat

Not making the team flight Luol Deng (illness) will not travel with the Miami Heat for Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets due to feeling under the weather. Even thought he played 29 minutes last game it appears Luol will need some rest before taking the basketball court again. While his sickness and soreness does not appear to be anything sever he should be considered questionable for Friday's game as well.

Possible NBA Daily Fantasy Sports Beneficiaries:

Chris Bosh

Dwyane Wade

Danny Granger

Shawne Williams

3 Friday Daily Fantasy Sports Matchup's To Focus On:

Houston @ Golden State - Over/Under 217.5 (GS -8)

Two of the highest scoring and fast paced teams meet tonight when the Houston Rockets visit the Golden State Warriors which is always a great opportunity to pick lots of NBA daily fantasy points. With both teams having some of the most potent scoring in the league there should be no shortage of NBA daily fantasy points in this contest. With a spread for the home team only -8 the game should remain close enough throughout the game to where all star and hot players will see a full load of minutes. It is of note also that during the Warriors blowout of the Nuggets on Monday they played many players off the bench and have been spreading there playing minutes around to many different players.

Golden State Players To Watch:

Stephen Curry

Klay Thompson

Houston Players To Watch:

James Harden

Dwight Howard

Donatas Motiejunas

Oklahoma City @ Washington - Over/Under 204.5 (WSH -1.5)

Scoring 111 points against the Sixers last game it is clear the Washington Wizards are capable of putting up points which is always a good thing for building our daily fantasy sports NBA lineups. As Oklahoma comes off a tough game with the Miami Heat last night the Wizards should be able to push the pace against weary legs. With the high over / under total and the close point spread of 1.5 we can expect this to be a highly contested affair with plenty of NBA daily fantasy sports points up for grabs.

Washington Players To Watch:

John Wall

Marcin Gortat

Bradley Beal

Oklahoma City Players To Watch:

Kevin Durant

Russell Westbrook

Reggie Jackson

Portland Trailblazers @ Phoenix Suns - Over/Under 211 (PHO -6.5)

This will be more an injury play game then anything. The Trailblazers are a team that rely heavily on the scoring of only a few players one of them being the now injured Lamarcus Aldridge (thumb). With aldridge sitting out against an already high scoring team (The Suns put up 115 points against the Lakers in there last game) this might be a great opportunity to focus on some stars that may be in a good situational spot due to the missing Portland star power forward. Look for Lillard and Matthews to be shooting more then they already due against the weak guard defense of Phoenix and look for maybe Markieff Morris to have a big game at power forward against the now weakened front court of Portland. Spread is close and over / under is also high in this game shaping it up for a great spot to pick up daily fantasy sports points.

Portland Players To Watch:

Damian Lillard

Wesley Matthews

Thomas Robinson

Meyers Leonard

Phoenix Players To Watch:

Markieff Morris

Goran Dragic

Isaiah Thomas

Its shaping up to be another night in NBA daily fantasy sports so make sure to get your lineups built and get ready to have some fun!
