Pick #1 – Brooklyn Nets at Denver Nuggets
This is pretty much a meaningless game for both teams. While it might not look like much on paper as the woeful Brooklyn Nets who hold a 4-6 record over their last 10 game stretch take on the Denver Nuggets who hold the same unimpressive 4-6 record over there last 10 its a great position to be in for a bet. These teams are playing some extremely high scoring ball as of late and Brooklyn (17-44) and Denver (24-37) should give us a nice run up of the score as both teams play uninspired defense. Each team has injuries to key players so this is also a great chance for some of the backups and young guys to really showcase there skills which usually leads to more scoring. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Jarrett Jack are the hurting Nets while Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari are riding the injury pine for Denver. The Nets and Nuggets have both been playing questionable defense as of late so the hoops should be falling tonight without issue. Breaking down these two NBA teams over the last 10 heads up scenarios the over/under is 5-5 so these teams rarely favor a side and our very situation specific. The good news is that this game is putting us in a very favorable position if we look deeper into more recent events and the most current stats. The total has gone OVER in 5 of Denver's last 7 games including going OVER in 4 of Denver's last 5 games at home. Its gets better. The total has gone OVER in 12 of Brooklyn's last 18 games. The trends are clear here and offense seems to be the focus as the offensive and defensive last 10 game averages of 205.7 and 210.1 show a nice potential peak on the high side. The point spread for this NBA over/under begin at 209 and has moved 1 point down which is not too telling either way. When these two teams met less then a month ago the score was 104 – 105 so these two teams should have no problem getting us to the number we need to be at. Despite the over/under moving down a notch we are still seeing a super strong 63% consensus so the line movement may not be as telling as it is normally. The Nuggets need to pick up the win by -5.5 so they should showing up and showing off for the home crowd. Lets follow the analysis and trust read here and take the OVER 208. Game Time: Brooklyn Nets at Denver Nuggets - Friday, March 04, 2016 9:05 PM Spread: 837 Brooklyn Nets +5½ 838 Denver Nuggets -5½ Total: 837 Brooklyn Nets Over 208 838 Denver Nuggets Under 208 Betting odds provided by 5Dimes The Pick: Over 208 (2 Units) As always bet within your means and bankroll. This is a big game for both teams and if history repeats itself as it has been known to do this should be one explosive game. As the Pacers cling to one of the last playoffs and Bucks fight with all have to claw there way back into the hunt this Eastern conference rivalry game should be intense. Both Milwaukee and Indiana are playing 5-5 basketball over their last 10 games so each is clearly ready to show up on any given night. These teams are known to bring the best out of each other offensively and Milwaukee (25-35) and Indiana (31-29) should give us the high tempo game we would expect from two teams fighting for one of the last playoff spots in an inter conference rivalry. Both teams have injuries but not to any key superstar players. Its CJ Miles on the Pacers side of the ball and for Milwaukee the injury list reads Jerryd Bayless, John Henson, Steve Novak, and Greivis Vasquez so we figure as has been happening of late for the Bucks starters to get all court time they can manage. The Pacers and Bucks have both been playing lackadaisical defense as of late so the buckets should be dropping tonight without problem. Evaluating these two foes last 10 match ups the over/under is a lopsided 7-3 and we are beginning to see why this is starting to shape up to be a very nice matchup specific play. While the previous numbers are leaning us in a direction it is not until we delve deeper into more finite details do will really get the full picture on why this is such a strong play. The total has gone OVER in 4 of Milwaukee's last 5 games when playing Indiana Clearly when these teams face off the ability to play defense is forgotten. Also a lack of defense is evident in the offensive and defensive last 10 game averages as the stats work out to be 202.9 and 205.8 points per game respectively which gets us over the peak of where we need to be in terms of scoring allowance. The point spread for this NBA Total begin at 206 and has only been swinging a half point so it looks like the market is not yet accounting for how biased the outcomes are when these two teams link up. When these two teams met two months ago the score was a whopping 120 – 116 and we should get more of the same tonight. Despite the over/under not moving much we are seeing the a 68% consensus rate which has to getting us excited about where the smart money is trending. The Pacers have to win by -2.5 on the road so we can figure to see some serious shots flying in this. Just look at what happened in Milwaukee's last game two nights ago against Houston where the score managed to find a ceiling of 128-121 win. Lets follow the savvy side here and roll with the OVER 205.5 and grab some of this nice value sitting on the board today. Game Time: Indiana Pacers at Milwaukee Bucks - Wednesday, March 02, 2016 8:05 PM Spread: 715 Indiana Pacers -2½ 716 Milwaukee Bucks +2½ Total: 715 Indiana Pacers Over 205½ 716 Milwaukee Bucks Under 205½ Betting odds provided by 5Dimes The Pick: Over 205.5 (2 Units) As always bet within your means and bankroll.
